		<description>Great list, Alex. It is sad how so many people in this election year seem to believe that if America can just elect the right president, their lives will be complete. They put way too much faith in a person.

I agree with the items you chose, especially the first three. I also like "Find your passion, and pursue it." A lot of people I know get busy and skip that -- or have no hobby/sport/personal interest they feel passionately about.

Sounds like watching great bands perform live is one of your passions.

Sometimes I wonder about "Work your job with integrity and tenacity, regardless of how menial it is." Work often does seem pretty unimportant and menial. 

I'm learning that "Raising good kids" takes almost as much time as all the other items on your list combined. But there's no shortcut to that!
